Super quick post.. my friend Melissa wanted me to come to her youth group last night, since I hadn't been there in awhile, and I told her I'd see what I can do. I just got my lisence Monday, but hadn't driven alone yet (for those of you who know my mom understand my situation. lol) So with much begging (and multiple times reminding her that in less than a year I will be off to college and so I need to start doing things on my own, and such..) I FINALLY got her to say yes! I'm still not quite sure how I got her to say yes, its a miracle actually, but she did! That was the highlight of this week, lol.


And for those of you wondering.. no I didnt crash. I'm actually a pretty good driver. My only weakness is reversing into parking spots.. but I'm working on that! lol

Sorry this was random, but I felt it was blog-worthy. (Especially for those of you who I havent seen or talked to in forever.. now you know I'm growing up :p Miss you all)

It's been awhile..

Hey everyone! To say the least, A LOT has happened since my last post.. and until today I forgot I even had a blog (sorry to all of you who were devoted readers) I'll try to do better...

I'm not in the best mood to post an actual blog today so I'll just give you some quick updates:

-Switched to French Horn in school (but still auditioning for college on Clarinet) I'm enjoying playing Horn.. a lot. <3
-Got a superior on a grade 5 solo for solo&ensemble (not the one I was planning on working on that I had mentioned in previous posts, sorry. Lol) BUT! I'm going to states :) Woohoo! I'm very excited for that.
-I'm going to do District Honor Band again this year EXCEPT this year I'm going on Horn.. looking forward to that as well.
-Got my driver's license.. YAY!

Well thats the good news as of lately.. as for the downs of lately, I'm sure there will be many blogs on that stuff soon. But for now.. I'll end in this statement:

On Wednesday, April 23, 2009, I, along with my close friends Kelly Ann Friere and Ken Goff, decided that we would compete in the Key Biscayne Triathlon. Since then, we've been training like crazy. (I know.. its only been a couple days but still! We're totally motivated) We plan to train 5 or 6 days a week.. and so far I'm pretty impressed by how good we're already able to do without collapsing! LOL

So from now to the end of the summer, my plans are:

-Training for the triathlon (and get in shape!)
- Get a job
- Arrange lessons for clarinet
- Give lessons (and get some money!!)


I can do this!

first ACT score..

ok.. so i went into that test completely exhausted and had the thought of leaving stuck on my head since the moment i sat down.. (i hate tests..) when it was too late, i realized that the ACT is NOT like the SAT... you shouldnt leave ANYTHING blank.. bad one.

so i knew i did completely horrible..bleh. oh well, who needs to go to college anyways right? lol. jk

but my scores came in today.. and i got a 20!! in my opinion that is REALLY good.. especially for the circumstances of that day.

so I HAVE HOPE!! i MIGHT be able to get into college after all! lol.
i'll be taking the ACT again a couple more times.. now that i know im WAY better on ACTs than SATs!

sorry.. just a random thought. im done.

my crazy solo came in today.. yeah, im going to need alot more practice than i thought! =P

but its worth a try.. what else do i got to lose.
